We were trying so hard to find a date that would work for all of us for Kim and André's wedding, but it just didn't seem to want to line up. Thank goodness! Because we decided on shooting their elopement in the dunes at one of the most iconic (and difficult) spots to get to in the Namib Desert: where desert meets the ocean at Sandwich Harbour.
First we stopped at the slat plains just outside of Swakop, then we made our way through the dunes to this incredible view. I have to admit, I got a little dune-sick on the way back. It's not the easiest route and the dunes felt like huge waves that would capsize the car at any moment!
It was all worth it though. Enjoy!
