My husband, Duncan, and I are a professional photo + video team with a shared passion for candid moments and a knack for making even the most camera-shy couples feel comfortable in front of the lenses.
Our style is a perfect blend of candid and editorial, meaning we're always on the lookout for those fleeting, natural moments that make a wedding day so special, while also incorporating some artful composition and direction to ensure that each image and frame is a work of art in its own right.

Suné is the most creative, passionate, kind and beautiful soul, and we are thrilled to have her on our team when it comes to shooting weddings and lifestyle sessions!
We share a passion for capturing moments that make you feel something and she's not afraid of some motion blur and grainy shots. We have a very similar style and approach and I trust her 100% to take the reins, be it a wedding day or a lifestyle shoot.
She recently moved here from Pretoria, South Africa and she's been interested in photography since high school. She's done a whole lot of weddings herself - when she turns up, you're in good hands.
Duncan is the videographer and co-founder of The Irvine Team.
He has a knack for understanding a couple and how to put a film together that represents them in their own unique way. He knows exactly which songs to choose and how to craft a film that makes you cry happy tears and get goosebumps within the first five seconds!
Originally from Cape Town, Duncan moved to Namibia with me (Ida) and our little girl Mia. Once Namibia gets a hold of you, it's hard to let go (even if you're an avid surfer).
I've already introduced myself, so let me share a few interesting facts:
My hair constantly changes colour - you never know whether a blonde or brunette is going to show up at your wedding.
I'm a huge fantasy fan - LOTR, HP, Wheel of Time, Narnia...
I want lots of kids!
I like listening to all kinds of music, except for mumble rap, heavy metal and some of whatever it is the kids seem to be listening to these days.

Behind the Lens
Whether we're photographing a family, or documenting your wedding day, we've been told that we have a knack for making people feel at ease.
We don't want you to be overly conscious of the camera, we want you to live in the moment and remember it exactly as it happened.
We are still so in love with our engagement and wedding photos & video that Ida & Duncan captured like no one else could. They are fun to work with and made us feel very comfortable. 100% would recommend them to anyone!

Not only did Ida and Duncan help us from the first day of contact until the very last, they also spend extra time and effort to get to know us. It was the first time we did a photoshoot and they both made us so comfortable, we had so much fun with them! And the pictures are absolutely stunning (not only ours but every single one they take). We are absolutely grateful we could meet these two and will always recommend them - they are just the best.
