Gerhard and Mardine decided to tie the knot in Namibia - at Out of Nature - because this is where Mardine grew up. I absolutely loved the all black theme of the guests. It added so much to the elegance and sophistication of the day, not to mention it made beautiful photos.
I've known Mardine for quite a while, which isn't that uncommon in Namibia (it being such a small country). And I mostly know her as a friend of mine's little sister. Strange how I'm starting to capture weddings for people I used to look at as "the little ones". Strange and yet so special - seeing them grow into the women (and men) they are today, making promises of this kind of significance.
It was a beautiful day - one I will definitely not forget!
