ANDRIES & SUNÉ - AN ELEGANT WEDDING AT MIDGARD COUNTRY ESTATE, NAMIBIA
Even though we only met Andries and Suné on the day of their wedding, I felt like we instantly connected. The day unfolded in such a seamless and relaxed way that we almost felt like part of the guests. Andries and Suné are both such wonderful humans with the kindest hearts and the warmest personalities. They both approached the day in a graceful and calm way, making everyone around them feel calm (but also excited) for the events to come!
We did their wedding during the rainy season in Namibia, so the field was beautiful and green and we had some lovely cloud coverage to shield us from the blistering sun - the heat can get quite intense this time of year in Namibia.
Midgard is definitely one of my favourite wedding venues in Namibia! There are so many options for you to choose from when planning your ceremony: the chapel, outdoors and we've even done a wedding in the stables once! What a unique experience! The stables can also serve as a beautiful location for couples photos, not to mention the tall yellow grass that lights up gold when the sun starts getting low in the horizon. There are also a few lookout spots that can even be used for sundowners or canapés to entertain the guests while we head out for photos!
